This image is a composite of 4 different shots containing the various elements of the image, the pouring liquid, the head of the beer, the liquid pouring into the glass and the bottle.
A good friend/colleague of mine at London Jewellery School is getting married next month and she asked me to make this image of their wedding rings that they could use on a thank-you card that the newly married couple can send to all of their wedding guests.
Happy marriage Sunita!
To get to know my new local community and the neighbourhood I’ve started a personal project called ‘Welcome to Plaistow’. A faux advertising campaign for the E13 area capturing the institutions, characters and business that define this part of London.
The first shoot was at Nathans Pies and Eels on Barking Road. Nathans is a family business that’s serving pies and eels since 1923. Feeding generations of eastenders a visit to the shop has long been a regular feature in many West Ham fans matchday with the shop being located right outside Upton Park stadium.
However the local market for their food has shifted with the changing local population and with the upcoming move by West Ham away from Upton Park to the Olympic stadium the future of their business is in doubt.
I’m planning on meeting up with Graham from Addictive TV for an early morning dog walk next week and he reminded me of this project I worked with him on for Strasbourg based arts festival, L’OSOSPHÈRE
We flew over and spent two days on the cranes in various locations around the port. Graham worked his ninja edit skills on the footage we shot to produce this great video. It’s a combination of stop motion sections with footage captured from moving shipping cranes, the majority of it shot with tilt shift lenses. Enjoy the edit or follow the link below to the full silent version that was shown during events at the festival.
