Bodiam Castle – Winter 2010

The weather was looking good for what turned out to be the first day of spring so I planned an early morning shoot at the stunning Bodiam Castle in East Sussex. I arrived while it was still dark so managed to capture the whole light range on the sunrise. A nice set of images for stock use as well as family christmas cards. It was a very magical morning so I also decided to capture an extra dimension with a short HD video shot on the 5D mk2.

There’s some times when the safety and security of a 9-5 job really appeals but not on this day. After the heaviest snowfall I’ve experienced in London the next day was clear and sunny, and where better to enjoy it than on Hampstead Heath with kids and adults alike enjoying a forced break from the weekday grind.

My first trip to Switzerland I visited Geneva to attend the Mapping Festival. Unfortunately a little late for snowboarding in the mountains, the city is was very beautiful but for me the highlight was a tour of the United Nations office

Dad's 60th Birthday Norfolk | May 2007

The first family holiday for the Cheetham family for a good few years…. We all got together for a long weekend in Norfolk in early May at a surprise birthday celebration for my Dad’s 60th birthday. As you can see the weather is typical of that in the UK in early May but the countryside and landscape is really beautiful anytime of the year.
